In the song “Locusts,” Detroit emcees Invincible and Finale rhyme about the impacts of gentrification on the Motor City. Above is the first half of a music video/documentary that features interviews with community activists who discuss displacement and predatory planning versus sustainable development in city. The second half of the video is set for a later release. Both the song and the video are from Invincible’s debut album Shapeshifters, which is available on www.EMERGENCEmusic.net and www.bling47.com.
