The concept of the video is really well done and its also my favorite song on the album. I will say that she's better off keeping it as is then altering it to meet whatever standards it is they are looking for. Just sucks that the audience to broadcast the message to is significantly smaller. She's way to talented to not be heard... I agree with the above comments. I feel 'Ropes' should get play BECAUSE of what it deals with. It is not glorifying, it is communicating and expressing a real issue that can partially be caused by people's feelings of isolation. Hearing others speak on it in a relatable medium could help break that feeling and hopefully provide an outlet for their emotions as opposed to going through with the unthinkable. MTV should know better. Why do they play shows like, 'True Life'? To show people there are others out there going through it and they are not alone. Who do I send this to in order to help? Yo.
